Several trade unions in Finland have announced a political strike on 11-24 March 2024. The strike will affect, among other things, fuel distribution in Finland. On 20 March 2024, it was announced that the political strike will continue until 31 March 2024. According to the latest information, there will be no impact on Finnair flights as of 22 March 2024.

To mitigate the impacts of the strike on our customers, some of our long-haul flights on 11-21 March 2024 were operated with a planned refueling stopover during the journey, and therefore, the flight time was longer than normal. We follow the situation closely and assess the impacts of the strike on our flights. These political industrial actions are not related to Finnair, and we do our best to minimize the impacts on your travel plans.
